Delaware Military Academy 2 @ Salesianum 0
The Delaware Military Academy defeated Salesianum 2 – 0 to win the 2018-19 Delaware Cup tonight  at The Patriot Ice Center in Newark, DE. It was the first time that the Seahawks defeated the Sallies in three games this season.

With 2:28 left in the first, Sallies defenseman Nick Falkowski was called for cross-checking to give the Seahawks the man advantage. Thirty-two seconds later DMA’s forward Justin McGee beat Salesianum’s Graham Burke to give the Seahawks a 1 – 0 lead. McGee’s goal ultimately turned out to be the game winner.

After a scoreless second, the Seahawks looked to add to lead. After another cross-checking penalty was called on the Sallies with 5:54 into the third, DMA’s Aaron Catron would beat Graham as time was expiring with the extra attacker to make it a 2 – 0 game.

Anthony Guerrieri stopped all twelve shots he faced while Burke turned aside 38 of 40 shots in defeat.
