Boys Playoffs start on Monday

The boys Inter County Scholastic Hockey League’s second season begins on Monday with twenty-six teams vying to win their respective division’s championship. Ten games are on tap on Monday. The winners of those games will advance to the divisional semi-finals on Wednesday and four championship games will be held on Thursday.

The following is an overview of each division.

Ches-Mont
Six teams advance to the divisional playoffs. Downingtown East is the top seed and has a bye to the divisional semi-finals as well as WC Bayard Rustin who is the second seed. Third seed WC East will host sixth seed Unionville on Monday at Ice Line at 8:30PM. Fourth seed WC Henderson hosts Downingtown West at 6:30PM at Ice Line.

The winner of the WC Henderson/Downingtown West will play number one seed Downingtown East Wednesday at 8:30PM at Ice Line. The WC East/Unionville winner will play WC Bayard Rustin at Ice Line at 8:00PM at Ice Line.

The Ches-Mont Divisional championship game will be held on Thursday at 6:30PM at Ice Line. This game will be aired live on HockeyTV.

Central
Number one seed Strath Haven and number two seed Conestoga receive first-round byes. Number three seed Haverford will host number six seed Ridley. The two teams will play Monday at the Skatium at 8:00PM. Number four seed Lower Merion will host Springfield. This game will be played at IceWorks at 7:00PM.

Strath Haven will host the winner of the Lower Merion/Springfield game on Wednesday at 7:00PM at IceWorks. Conestoga will host the winner of the Haverford/Ridley game on Wednesday at Ice Line at 6:30PM.

The Central Divisional championship game will be held on Thursday at 7:30PM at IceWorks.

Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL)
Number one seed Cardinal O’Hara will receive a bye as well as number two seed Father Judge. Number three seed Salesianum will host number six seed Archbishop Ryan Monday at The Pond at 7:40PM. Fourth seed Delaware Military Academy will host fifth seed Roman Catholic at the Pond at 9:20PM.

O’Hara will host the winner of the Delaware Military Academy/Roman Catholic game on Wednesday at IceWorks at 8:45PM. Father Judge will host the winner of the Salesianum/Ryan game at the Northeast Skatezone at 7:45PM.

The PCL divisional championship game will be held on Thursday at Skatium at 8:00PM.

Liberty
Eight teams from the Liberty division (North and South) have advanced to the divisional playoffs. The North number one seed Boyertown will host South seed number four Interboro Monday at 6:30PM at Oaks. North number two seed Owen J. Roberts hosts South seed number three St. Marks at 8:30PM at Oaks. South seed number one Kennett hosts North number four seed Perkiomen Valley at 7:40PM at the Pond while South seed number two Appoquinimink hosts North number three seed Springford at 9:20PM at the Pond.

The winner of the Boyertown/Interboro and Appoquinimink/Springford games will play on Wednesday at 6:45PM at Ice Line. The winner of the Owen J. Roberts/St. Marks and Kennett/Perkiomen Valley games will play at Ice Line at 8:45PM.

The Liberty divisional championship game will be held on Thursday at 8:30PM at Ice Line. This game will be aired live on HockeyTV.
